How much does a custom LMS cost?
A customised open-source LMS platform usually costs much less than a fully custom LMS. A custom LMS is quoted after discovery based on features, integrations and scale. We provide a fixed-price estimate or a dedicated team option.
Do you support eFront?
Yes. We maintain eFront installations, build extensions and integrations, and migrate eFront courses and users to an open-source or custom LMS when needed.
Do your LMS platforms support SCORM and xAPI?
Yes. We support SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI with a learning record store, cmi5 and LTI 1.3.

Should I customise an open-source LMS or build a custom one?
Customise an open-source LMS if your needs match standard course delivery, assessments and reporting, and you want lower cost and a faster launch. Build a custom LMS when the platform is your product, such as a subscription or multi-tenant learning business, or when your workflows would need constant workarounds. Vibidsoft has built both since 2014 and will recommend honestly.

Vibidsoft migrates courses, SCORM and xAPI packages, users, enrolments, completions, grades and certificates from your existing LMS to an open-source or custom platform. We map data, run test migrations, check that historical completion records and compliance evidence are preserved, and keep the old system available read-only during the switch-over.
